Majority of farmers in today's world use pesticides to gain satisfying result to harvest their crops. In many developing country they still use dangerous pesticides that is abandoned in countries like U.S.. They not only increase the amount of produce, but also seriously affect farmers health. The best solution would be banning all use of pesticides, but we know it is not possible at this time. Without pesticides, many farmers today will not be able to produce enough crops to support their lives. Instead, we can train farmers to use healthier alternative to dangerous pesticides and reduce the use of harmful chemicals on their food. When I compare a stable mass production of edible vegetables and growing organic vegetables in a small farm, I see benefits on both sides. However, the goal of these two styles of agricultures seem very different to me. While organic vegetable farm is producing safe to eat vegetables for people, large size farm is producing vegetables with no warm bites to sustain a profitable business.
